Issue/Introduction

  • You are not able to remove the virtual machine in the VMware Cloud Director UI as the option to delete has been greyed out. 
  • Since the virtual machine was deleted from vCenter, it cannot be deleted from VMware Cloud Director UI
  • You are unable to delete VMs in a "Failed creation" state
  • You will also see similar error when you try to delete the VM: 
    The requested operation could not be executed on vApp "Gitlab". Stop the vApp and try again.

    More than one row with the given identifier was found. 

 

 

 

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.5.x

Cause

Virtual Machine was removed from vCenter directly hence the DELETE option has been greyed out in VMware Cloud Director UI.
