Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

Chargeback/Tenant App UI container stuck in restarting state

Environment

VMware vRealize Operations 8.x

Cause

ovfEnv.xml file was 0kb

Resolution

Login to vCenter web client

• Click on Configuration -vAPP Option - View OVF environment
• Copy the full content

 

SSH into Chargeback Appliance.

 

• vi /opt/vmware/etc/vami/ovfEnv.xml
• Paste the copied content from View OVF environment
• Save the file.

 

Run the below script which will read the vAPP Options and start the containers.

/opt/vmware/va/config/subsequentboot.sh

 

Tenant App UI should be UP.
