Provisioning diagram shows error at some stages even though deployment is successful

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• The provisioning diagram shows errors at some stages even though deployment is successful.
• Provisioning logs do not show any error and you can see the relevant Project, Cloud zone, and tags being applied and selected.

Environment

VMware Aria Automation 8.x

Cause

Time skew between the Aria Automation appliance nodes in a clustered environment.

Resolution

Verify that 'System clock synchronized: yes' and there is only a couple of seconds difference in the times reported by the output of:

vracli ntp status

If 'System clock synchronized: no' then verify if Aria Automation is using ESXi or NTP servers to get time by running:

vracli ntp show-config

If it is using ESXi for time then move all the Aria Automation nodes to a single ESXi node and run:

vracli ntp esxi

If it is using NTP then make sure the NTP servers are reachable from all the Aria Automation nodes. Refer to the below document to configure NTP on Aria Automation.
