Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

 

  • REST calls in vRealize Automation 8.11.2 Codestream pipelines fail for all URLs with Reserved/Local IP based URL not allowed error.
  • The /services-logs/prelude/codestream-app/file-logs/codestream-app.log contains errors similar to:
2023-04-14T10:28:06.350Z ERROR codestream [host='codestream-app-9cdb67f6c-7t7fg' thread='TileExecution-10' user='Username' org='<UUID_1>' trace='<UUID_2>' parent='' span='<UUID_3>'] c.v.codestream.tiles.rest.RestAPITile.failIfInternalUrl:291 - Reserved/Local IP based URL https://FQDN/lib.json not allowed

Resolution

The issue is resolved in the VMware Aria Automation 8.12 release.
