Resolution

Fix is available in vSphere ESXi 8.0b.

Workaround:

If the user hits the Configuration State Error and do not wish to upgrade ESX to 8.0b, then follow the below procedure:

  1. Remove the NSX Configured on the cluster from NSX Manager by clicking on "Remove NSX".

  2. Upload the 8.0a offline depot (VMware-ESXi-8.0a-20842819-depot.zip).

  3. Initiate NSX installation on the cluster from NSX Manager by clicking on "Configure NSX".
