Unknown status for 'vLCM host hardware device validation' precheck during ESXi-vLCM upgrade.

Issue/Introduction

To let users know that this is a false positive. ESXi upgrade using vLCM images will not be impacted on non vSAN backed clusters.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 4.4.1
VMware Cloud Foundation 4.4.x

Cause

'vLCM host hardware device validation' check is valid for vSAN storage backed clusters only.
LCM incorrectly flags this for clusters using other storage types (NFS, VMFS, vVOL)

Resolution

The issue is fixed in VCF 4.5.0.0

Workaround:
This precheck error can be ignored and upgrade can be started when clusters are backed by non vSAN storage types.
