VCSA UI Installer throws 'Entry Point Not Found' error from Windows 2012 Server Version Jump host.

Issue/Introduction

Windows 2012 Server Version Jump host was supported till 8.0U1. As its not supported from 8.0U2, users may hit this error on 8.0U2. Hence it is advised to use the supported client machines.

Symptoms:
VCSA UI Installer throws error as mentioned below when deployed from Windows 2012 Server Version Jump host.

"The Procedure entry point DiscardVirtualMemory could not be located in the dynamic link library F:\vcsa-ui-installer\win32\installer.exe"

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 8.0.x
VMware vCenter Server 8.0.2

Cause

UI Installer uses Electron Framework internally. Electron will end support of Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 beginning in Electron 23. Since win 2012R2 shares the same code as Windows 8.1, VCSA Installer is expected to crash.
