Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
The cluster creation fails at the task "Validate vSAN disks for ESXi Host(s)" with an error regarding one or more ESXi Hosts vSAN disks issues like mismatch in the disk sizes.

Environment

Vmware Cloud Foundation 4.5

Cause

The cause of the problem is that the ESXi Hosts are not eligible to be used by vSAN and need to be reconfigured.

Resolution

Cluster should be deleted, the ESXi Hosts decommissioned, then adjusted to be vSAN eligible, then commission the ESXi Hosts and start a new cluster creation.
