The VirtualMachine entity's "Last day" perf charts contains gaps after VM migration.

Issue/Introduction

User is aware of this behaviour and it is not a bug, but by design.

Symptoms:
After VM migration is performed, sometimes gaps are observed in the VirtualMachine entity's "Last day" charts (Both Overview and Advanced).

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 7.0.3

Cause

Stats collection cycles are scheduled every 30 minutes in VC. The above scenario occurs when a VM is migrated and by next collection cycle on source Host, the VM gets unregistered and data will be lost. And only new data samples will be present on destination Host after migration.
If stats collection for the VM just happened and VM is migrated, then data will not be lost, gap will not be noticed.
