VMware Aria Operations is reporting alarms for nsx-message-bus, migration coordinator and SNMP services for NSX-T below is an example of the alerts received in Aria operations:
VMware NSX-T Data Center
VMware NSX
VMware Aria Operations 8.12 and later
The nsx-message-bus service has been deprecated starting from NSX-T Data Center 3.0.Kindly refer to following Broadcom Techdocs article: Install NSX Manager and Available Appliances
To prevent the alert from triggering in Aria Operations you will need to exclude the services from monitoring on the adapter instance(s):
In Aria operations 8.12 navigate to Data Sources > Integrations > Locate NSX-T adapter instance > Edit the adapter instance configuration > Click on Advanced Settings > Navigate to Exclude Services from monitoring > Select "NSX Message Bus", "Migration Coordinator", and "SNMP"
In Aria Operations 8.18 navigate to Administrations > Integrations > Locate NSX-T adapter instance > Edit the adapter instance configuration > Click on Advanced Settings > Navigate to Exclude Services from monitoring > Select "NSX Message Bus", "Migration Coordinator", and "SNMP"
The alerts for NSX-message-bus, Migration Coordinator, and SNMP services within VCF Operations (formerly VMware Aria Suite) are configured by design to monitor the state of all NSX Management Services. Because some of these services do not start by default in an NSX environment, they are being flagged as alerts in VCF Operations
