Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
VMware Aria Operations reporting alarm below

The Critical symptom Management Service runtime state is not running has been observed on nsx-message-bus (Self)

Console/SSH to the NSX manager node, run command "get service nsx-message-bus" which shows this service is stopped

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center 3.x
VMware NSX-T Data Center 4.x
VMware NSX-T Data Center

Resolution

The nsx-message-bus service has been deprecated starting from NSX-T Data Center 3.0.

Impact/Risks:

There is no operational impact because this nsx-message-bus service is no longer used from NSX-T Data Center 3.0.
