How to License VMware Fusion Player/Pro

Issue/Introduction

This article provides the steps to license VMware Fusion Player/Pro.

Resolution

To license VMware Fusion Player/Pro:

1. Launch VMware Fusion.
2. Go to VMware Fusion > License.
   
   Note: You are given an option to enter the license when Fusion is launched for the first time.
    
3. Enter the serial number.
   
   The VMware Fusion Pro/Player Activation Code is an alpha-numeric code. 
   
   If you purchased an electronic software download (ESD) version, your license key can be found in your order confirmation email.
   
   
4. Click OK.
   
   Product registration occurs automatically at the time of purchase for all VMware products. 
   
   If the licenses are purchased recently and you do not have them under your account please contact your SU/PC.

Note: You can, however, activate your Fusion software without registering the license keys.
