Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• A converted Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (SP4) virtual machine fails to power on
• You see the error:
  
  ***Stop 0x0000001e {0xc0000005,0x804a1a51,0x00000000,0x000000b0} KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Environment

VMware vCenter Converter 4.1.x
VMware vCenter Converter Standalone 4.0.x
VMware vCenter Converter Standalone 4.3.x
VMware vCenter Converter 4.2.x
VMware vCenter Converter 4.0.x

Resolution

This issue is caused by a problem with the Scsiport.sys drive.
