Cannot communicate over a Virtual Distributed Switch Uplink if its name has more than 31 characters

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Cannot communicate over Virtual Distributed Switch (vDS) Uplink which has a name with more than 31 characters.
• Running the esxtop command against the NIC port shows void for team-pnic.

Resolution

This is a known issue.

To work around this issue, ensure that the Uplink names have less than 31 characters.
