Issue/Introduction

QUESTION:

How can Endevor API functions be secured separately from internal Endevor functions that perform the same action?  An example would be a review and approve process for packages using the API calls to the approval function and allow user to access that processes without giving them authority to use the approval choice from the package menu under TSO.

ANSWER:

When using Endevor to approve a package thru the panels the security will not allow that user the ability to approve.  When using the API the same call is being done in batch which uses the same security calls as through the panels.
