Removing VMware NSX for vSphere Edge Syslog Configuration

Issue/Introduction

• After configuring a Syslog server on the NSX Edge via the Web UI, you are unable to remove this configuration.
   
• You are able to edit it, but you cannot completely remove it from within the Web Client.
   
• Networking & Security > NSX Edges > Select the Edge > Manage Tab > Settings > Configuration > Details section, you can configure, view, or edit the Syslog configuration. When attempting to remove the Syslog configuration, the operation cannot go through, as the Syslog Server field is required:

Resolution

To remove the Syslog configuration completely from the edge, use the following NSX API:

Type: DELETE
Header: application/xml
Authorization: Basic
API: /api/4.0/edges/edge-id/syslog/config
