Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Opening multiple virtual machine console windows from the same browser using the vSphere Web Client fails.
• Closing and then reopening the console window resolves the issue.

Environment

VMware vSphere Web Client 5.5.x
VMware vSphere Web Client 5.0.x
VMware vSphere Web Client 5.1.x

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting VMware vSphere Web Client 5.x. Currently, there is no resolution.

To work around this issue, re-launch the console to the virtual machine in vSphere Web Client.
