vCenters in linked mode shows VMware NSX as "Unknown role" on one VC and do not list the same on another VC

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

In the vCenter Enhanced Linked mode environment:

• NSX Manager is not shown on the one of the vCenter Server.
• NSX Manager is shown as "Unknown role" on the other vCenter Server.

Environment

VMware NSX for vSphere 6.4.x

Resolution

This issue happens when there are issues at the vCenter level in linked mode configuration.

To resolve the issue, re-sync the lookup service and vCenter registration services to re-configure the linked mode configuration.
