Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

Adding Edge\DLR to a Logical switch fails with error "need resourcePool resource to be prepared for network fabric".

Environment

VMware NSX for vSphere 6.4.x

Cause

This issue occurs when the Edge or DLR is running on a un-prepared cluster.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, ensure that the DLR is deployed on a cluster prepared for NSX.

If the DLR is actually on a prepared cluster, the issue could be due to some issue on the EAM service, restart the EAM service.
