Issue/Introduction
- You are unable to log in to a newly converted Windows guest
- You had a non-US keyboard layout prior to conversion
- Your user name contains characters that are not part of the US keyboard layout

- VMware vCenter Converter 4.2.x

Cause
The change is by design to maintain compatibility and make sure the keyboard is available on the virtual machine.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, change the keyboard's layout as required on the guest operating system after the conversion.
It's recomended to have aa user with a user name and password that does not require a non-US layout keyboard.
