Job fails with "1S78I JOB TERMINATED DUE TO PROGRAM ABEND" after upgrading to VISION:Report release 16.1.

VISION:Report Release 16.1 uses the standard LMP key licensing instead of the PRODCOD parameter of prior releases, so you must have CA-CIS active as it is the CASAUTIL utility that performs the LMP key checking.

The CA LMP execution key provided on the "Key Certificate" must be added to the CALMPKEY.A member to ensure proper initialization of the CA product, and you must have CASAUTIL set up to execute in your ASI or IPL proc.

If CASAUTIL is executed with no UPSI card, it will attempt to start all CA products found in the current LIBDEF search chain.

If you only want to start specific products, you can execute CASAUTIL with an UPSI card setting of "01" and specify which products are to start.

For example, the following execution of CASAUTIL will start only CA CIS:

To pick up the updated CALMPKEY.A member without doing an IPL, you can run this batch job:

  // EXEC CAIRIM   /*               

It is important to note the failure does not occur because the VISION:Report LMP key alone has timed out or is invalid.

The problem only occurs when CIS not active at all, or finds no valid keys.
