How do you add administrative user or group accounts to CA Client Automation?

Environment

CA Client Automation - All versions

Resolution

In DSM Explorer select Tools – Security Profiles:


 

 
 

Click the Add button in the Security Profiles Window:

  

 
 

In the Add Security Profiles window that pops up expand the directory that contains the the User or group account name that you want to add and select the Add to List button and then OK.

   
 

A Class Permissions Window will then pop up and you can use the shift key and mouse to highlight all objects and select Full Control to give the account full access to DSM:

  

 
 

The account will now be listed in the Security Profiles window:
