Issue/Introduction

• Windows vCenter server upgrade from 6.5 to 6.7 fails at vpostgres firstboot (stage 4/5)
• Logs %ProgramData%/VMware/vCenterServer/logs/vmware-vpx/vcdb_import.err:

psql:C:/ProgramData/VMware/vCenterServer/export/vcdb/create_constr.sql:3: ERROR: could not create unique index "provider_key"
DETAIL: Key (kv_provider, kv_key)=(spbmStorageIdToCapabilityProfileIdsMapProvider, naa.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx#xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxx) is duplicated.

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 6.7.x
VMware vCenter Server 6.5.x

Cause

This issue occurs due to duplicate values in Table CIS_KV_KEYVALUE in the vCenter server database.
