CSM 6.0 MSMTC users running ACF2 may receive S422 abends with reason code 1A0 when attempting to connect to CSM using the browser.

Issue/Introduction

Description:

After a successful startup, MSMTC may fail with a S422 abend after receiving messages +CEE0374C CONDITION=CEE3250C TOKEN=00040CB2 61C3C5C5 00000000_00000000 WHILE RUNNING PROGRAM ACF9C000 and IEF450I MSMTC CSMSRV MSMTC - ABEND=S422 U0000 REASON=000001A0

 

When attempting to log into the Graphical User Interface after a successful start of the MSMTC task, CSM 6.0 users using CA ACF2 may see the task terminate with a S422 abend, Reason Code 1A0.  Customers may see messages similar to the following:

+CEE0347C CONDITION=CEE3250C TOKEN=0040CB2 61C3C5C5 00000000_00000000 WHILE RUNNING PROGRAM ACF9C000 AT THE TIME OF INTERRUPT followed eventually by an IEF450I MSMTC CSMSRV MSMTC - ABEND=S422 U0000 REASON=000001A0.       

Solution:

To resolve this the ACF2 MUSASS attribute must be assigned to the Userid assigned to the MSMTC started task.
