Is Top Secret compatible with IBM APAR OA43999 for RACF?

Issue/Introduction

IBM has introduced some changes in RACF with APAR OA43999.

Some features and functions are already included in Top Secret, others are not yet.

Here is the status with Top Secret:

 

<< Accept additional special characters within passwords >>

==> CA Top Secret added support to expand special characters within passwords.

 

<< Allow stronger encryption password >>

==> AES 256 is scheduled for TSS r16.0.

 

<< Define users with a password phrase but no password >>

==> This is in the backlog (Idea on the CA Mainframe Security community). No target delivery date sets for this yet.

<< Expire a password without changing it >>

==> This is already in the product. 

 

<< Clean up the password history >>

==> Not available at this time. We do not have a customer Idea submitted for this update.
