The hostname and IP information needs to be entered manually.
After the host has booted, you may see this warning message:
Warning: DHCP lookup failed. You may be unable to access this system until you customize its network configuration.

Cause
Resolution
To resolve this issue:
Log in to the DNS server.
Clarify the DHCP reservation IP addresses and the associated host names asstatic DNS entries.
Add the missing entry in Reverse (PTR Record) Zone.
Open a command prompt and perform an nslookup of ESXi host names to confirm the DNS entries are working.
Boot the host using Auto Deploy.
Note: In some cases with similar symptoms, Forward DNS could be missing. Make sure both entries, Forward (ARecord) and Reverse (PTR Record) Zones, are set.
