Symptoms:
This article provides procedures for obtaining diagnostic information from the Skyline Collector.

Environment

Skyline Collector Appliance 1.x

Resolution

To collect the diagnostic information from the Skyline Collector version 1.0.0.1 and 1.0.0.2:

1. Open SSH or VM console to the Skyline Collector.
2. cd to /root or /tmp.
3. Collect log data "tar -pczf logs.tar.gz /var/log"
4. Collect configuration data " tar -pczf config.tar.gz /usr/local/skyline/ccf/config"
5. Upload the data to support request. For more information, see Uploading diagnostic information to VMware (1008525)
