Unable to add compute manager in getting started workflow if locale is set to JP

Issue/Introduction

This is seen in NSX-T 2.3.

Symptoms:

• Adding compute manager in getting started workflow fails in JP locale.
• In the GUI, you see entries similar to:

コンピュート マネージャ my-vcenter のタイプ 「vCenter Server」 は有効でありません。サポートされているコンピュート マネージャ サーバのタイプは 「vCenter」 です。

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center 2.x
VMware NSX-T Data Center

Cause

This is seen due to internal UI translation problem.

Resolution

Currently, there is no resolution.

Workaround:
To workaround this issue, you need to follow one of the below:

1. Use a locale other than JP.
2. Navigate to Fabric > Compute Manager and Add compute manager.
3. Do not touch Type. Do not select anything in Type. (This shows required but we can proceed without selection)
