Watch4net APG 5: How to change data format for output such as changing Octets to Mbps or kilobits to MBytes to GBytes
How to change data format for output such as changing Octets to Mbps, kilobits to MBytes to GBytes  in a Watch4Net APG 5 report

In the case of a table report, you will need to go in Edit mode - Table Tab and then change the column displaying the value you want to format. Under Value format section, you will find an option named Scaling mode. This lets you perform simple manipulation on the data. Here are some basic examples:
  • Show as a percentage: Choose the multiple option with a value of 100.
  • bits to Bytes: Choose the divide option with a value of 8.
  • Octets to Mbps: Choose the multiple option. The conversion is as follows: (Octets*8)/(1024*1024)=Mbps. So you need to enter 0.00000762939453125
  • kilobits to MBytes: Choose the multiple option. The conversion is as follows: kilobits/(8*1024)=MBytes. So you need to enter 0.000122070312
  • kilobits to GBytes: Choose the multiple option. The conversion is as follows: kilobits/(8*1024*1024)=GBytes. So you need to enter 0.00000011920928955078125

For a graph, go under the Graph Tab and Graph Properties. You can format the output using the Graph Scale Factor. Instead of division or multiplication, you need to put a scale factor. The multiple example shown above will works. In the case of division, you will need to use the inverse (1/x) of the value. For example, if you want to divide by 8, you will need to enter 0.125 (1/8).
