Issue/Introduction

This article is for the intended customers who are currently using the following licenses:

VMware NSX^® Advanced Load Balancer™ Per Service Core (perpetual & term)
VMware NSX^® Advanced Load Balancer™ Per Processor (perpetual & term)
VMware NSX^® Advanced Load Balancer Controller™ Add-On to NSX Advanced Load Balancer
VMware NSX^® Advanced Load Balancer™ for VDI Per CCU (Term)

Resolution

With several new cloud services planned for the upcoming releases of VMware NSX^® Advanced Load Balancer™, we are making changes to the product packages. The new product capabilities will provide customers with enhanced cloud services for central license management, security feeds, and zero-touch support services for multi-cloud load balancing and application security deployments.

VMware is announcing the End of Availability (EoA) of existing packages for: VMware NSX^® Advanced Load Balancer™ SKUs effective February 2, 2022. After this date, these packages will not be available for purchase.

New load balancing packages with options to purchase VMware NSX^® Advanced Load Balancer™ with or without the Cloud Services will be released December 23, 2021.

Current Term Subscription Customers:

• Don’t have to do anything until term expires
• At renewal time, you can purchase new package with cloud services or renew with new term licenses (without cloud services)

Current Perpetual Customers:

• Don’t have to do anything until current SnS expires
• At that time, you can purchase new package with cloud services or renew support with new SnS packages for supported versions (without cloud services)
