How do I add back an interface that was removed from Ionix/Smarts IP topology using tpmgr-param.conf file and "IFTypePattern-.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.222 ~6"?
How to add an Ionix/Smarts interface back in after it was removed from tpmgr-param.conf file?

To add back an interface that was removed from Ionix/Smarts IP topology using tpmgr-param.conf file using "IFTypePattern-.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.222 ~6", do the following:

1. Remove the interface entry in tpmgr-param.conf found here:
   
   <BASEDIR>/IP/smarts/bin/sm_edit conf/discovery/tmpgr-param.conf
   
    
2. Remove the IFTypePattern in the domain using the following command string:
   
   IP/smarts/bin/dmctl -s <AM domain> invoke ICF_TopologyManager::ICF-TopologyManager insertParameter IFTypePattern.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.222 " "
   
    
3. Rediscover the device.
