How can I configure Smarts SAM and the Smarts Web Console to support the German language Umlaut in the Notification List and Business Impact Manager (Smarts BIM)?



For the German Umlaut to be displayed in the Smarts SAM Web Console, add the following line to the webconsole.properties file (<BASEDIR>/tomcat/webconsole/webconsole.properties):

SM_STRING_ENCODING=ISO-8859-1
