Ionix NPM/Smarts NPM: OSPF discovery is not working; Receive "resources.sm_errors" when clicking on "Discover All" in OSPF

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:




OSPF discovery is not working in Ionix Network Protocol Manager (Ionix NPM)
OSPF discovery is not working in Smarts Network Protocol Manager (Smarts NPM)

Receive the following error when clicking on Discover All in Ionix NPM/Smarts NPM OSPF:

com.smarts.store.SmstoreException: class "com.emc.cmp.dmt.resources.sm_errors$SM_et"s signer information does not match signer information of other classes in the same package

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Cause

No source AM domain has been configured in Ionix NPM. You cannot perform a Discover All in OSPF until you have added a source AM domain.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, use the "Add Source" function in the NPM interface to add the source AM domain, and retry the Discover All operation. Once the AM domain has been added the error message should no longer appear and discovery should work.
