Resolution

You can stop or start the driver from the command line as follows:

Stopping the driver:

<basedir>/smarts/IP/bin/dmctl -s <server> invoke GA_DaemonDriver::Devstat-Trap-Driver stop 

Starting the driver: <basedir>/smarts/IP/bin/dmctl -s <server> invoke GA_DaemonDriver::Devstat-Trap-Driver start
