Does SMARTS create a NetworkConnection for Frame Relay routers when the subnet is lower than /30

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Resolution

For Frame Relay, SMARTS should create NetworkConnection even if the subnet mask is lower than /30 as long as all the following conditions are also met:

1. IP network has ConnectedTo relationship to only two IPs
2. IPs have HostedBy relationships to two different Routers
3. Each Interface has underlying relationship to only one IP

Given this information, SMARTS will only create a NetworkConnection if there are just two devices connected in the frame relay cloud. If you  have > 2  devices connected to a frame relay cloud using IP's in the same subnet, they will only appear as neighboring systems.
