What languages are supported by Smarts SAM adapters?
Is a French-language operating system (OS) supported in Smarts SAM adapters?


Error messages from sysadapter reported in the sm_adapter.log for system running French-language OS:

 ASL-BAD_HASH_TABLE_KEY-The hash table key 'jui' was not found

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Resolution

Currently Smarts SAM adapters do not support languages other than English. It is necessary to customize the installation to handle traps and messages which come from systems using a different date and language format such as French.
