How do I enable the Smarts Service Assurance Manager (Smarts SAM) default Notification list?

Smarts SAM Default Notification list is "Disabled" and SAM will not connect

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Resolution

To enable the Smarts SAM default Notification list, do the following:

1. Run the following command:
   
   <BASEDIR>/dmctl -s <SAM_DOMAIN> invoke ICS_NotificationList::ICS_NL-Default start
   
    
2. Login to SAM through the Global Admin Console.
3. Re-enable the default notificiation list.
