How is a Full Discovery in Smarts AM different from a Full Discovery in Smarts MPLS?
What are the Full Discovery and Discovery Pending options used for in Smarts?




Selecting Full Discovery will cause Smarts to discover all the devices in the topology, while Discovery Pending will cause Smarts to discover only the devices in the pending list. 

Full Discovery in Smarts MPLS and Smarts AM
Full Discovery in Smarts MPLS provides basically the same functionality as in Smarts AM, but is used to provide an MPLS sub-set of the re-discovery. Smarts MPLS retrieves the physical topology from Smarts AM and discovers MPLS topology by itself, but Smarts MPLS also discovers a different set of information that Smarts AM does not. Smarts MPLS Full Discovery only pulls MPLS-related items such as VRF and VPN information.
