For Smarts IP to trigger an Interface Disabled event, the following conditions must exist:
AprioriProbability_Disabled = 0.0001
Interface must be AdministrativelyDown
MODE = NORMAL and the following must be true:
These attributes are polled by Smarts IP for each interface and used as the criteria for generating Interface Disabled events. Use the Smarts IP Domain Manager Administration Console to view the current values for these attributes. Click on the interface of concern and then click the Attributes tab to view the Interface Properties.
NOTE:
Multicast group interfaces:
Interfaces of type 1,2,166,167,168,169,170,171,172,175 are part of the Multicast group. To trigger Disabled Events for Multicast group interfaces, the DisableMulticastDiscovery parameter value in the tpmgr_param.conf configuration file must be set to FALSE. To identify Multicast group interface types, walk the .1.3.6.1.3.61.1.1.2.1.7 OID tree of the device.
