Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:




Net-SNMP agent does not bring in CPU, memory or disk into Smarts IP
CPU and memory information are missing in Smarts IP for devices using Net-SNMP agent

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Cause

This problem occurs because the HostResource MIB was not loaded by the agent.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, add the HostResource MIB to the Net-SNMP agent as follows:

./configure --with-mib-modules=host
