Resolution
The SEEDNAME in IP/Smarts IP can be any userdefined string and can include special characters like &,*,% and so on. The following is an example of a seed name entry with special characters which is included in the seedfile:
<IP_Address> NAMEFORMAT=TM_USESEEDNAME SEEDNAME=HostA&B%*
