How to change the Polling/Threshold Group for a device.

Device is a member of the wrong Smarts Polling/Threshold Group

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Resolution

1. Identify if the device is a member of any other group.  If it is, make sure the group you want it to be a member of has a higher priority than that group by going to the Priority Tab for the Polling/Threshold group and raising the priority level as needed.
   Run a reconfigure to update members.
2. If a device is not a member of any other group, make sure the matching criteria for the group you create will match on the device in question.
