Unable to invoke the findPendiing method using dmctl to find objects in the pending list using IP address.

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Cause

Each entry in the Pending List is a Table of Elements with System Name or IP as a unique key.  It is not possible to take an IP address of a device that is already resolved in the pending list with a device name and invoke the findPending method to find the name of the device in the pending list and vice versa.

Resolution

This is working as designed.  The findPending will search for the IP or the resolved name in the pending list but it will not resolve the IP address to a device name that's in the pending list and vice versa.
