Adapter for Alcatel-Lucent 5620 SAM EMS 3.2.0.3 supports secure communications with Alcatel-Lucent 5620 SAM EMS server version 9.0 and 10.x. To implement this functionality, two new configuration parameters have been added to the emsConfig.import file:
The following describes the purpose and function of these configuration parameters.
EnableSSLMode
This parameter is used to enable or disable secure (SSL) communications with the 5620 SAM EMS.
TrustStoreFileName
This parameter is used to specify the name of the Trust Store file that is to be used for the secure connection with the 5620 SAM EMS. The Adapter expects the Trust Store file to be present in the <AdapterHome>/smarts/local/conf/alcatel-sam directory. TrustStoreFileName has meaning only when EnableSSLMode is TRUE. When the secure mode is enabled, the Adapter uses JMS over SSL and HTTPS connections for SOAP/XML queries. The default port for HTTPS connections is 8443.
