Symptoms:




The server with Smarts software creates core dumps when rebooting the server.

The Smarts Domains on the server had been started with ic-serviced. After the reboot the Domains were able o restarted OK, but they had created core dumps.

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Resolution

If the domains had been shutdown with ic-serviced before the reboot, then there would have been no core dump.
