How do I know when a Smarts alarm is false?




There is no EMC documentation available to customers outlining the exact criteria used to generate alarms in Smarts. The exact criteria for alarming in Smarts is proprietary. Symptoms/problems/aggregate event definition for events are coded in the model code for the following:

• ICIM_System.mdl
• ICIM_Network.mdl
• Environment.mdl

If you think an alarm is false or should be generated when you do not see one, contact EMC Customer Support Services (CSS) for Smarts to open a Service Request (SR), and reference this solution ID in your SR.
