Issue/Introduction

Upon login into MPLS Domain Manager Console (DMAC), User is not able to see all the settings/options/groups under the Polling tab of the Polling & Threshold menu 

The following settings are missing:

  • RemotePing: CE to CE
  • RemotePing: PE to CE
  • RemotePing: PE to PE
  • RemotePing: PE to unmanaged CE
  • RemotePing: PE to VRF
  • RemotePing: System Write Community Strings
  • RsvpProtocolEndpoint Polling Groups

Environment

Smarts - 10.1.x

TCSA - 2.x 

Smarts-DM - 2.x

Resolution

Executing the below command to manually load the missing RemotePing settings, this will restore the settings (It will not restore the setting to factory mode and will not change or delete newly created groups and settings from other polling options).

./dmctl -s <MPLS_Domain> invoke ICF_PolicyManager::ICF-PolicyManager loadSettings <BASEDIR>/smarts/conf/mpls-t/remoteping-settings.conf
