The frequency of the Smarts SAM automatic repository save is configured in the Smarts SAM bootstrap.conf configuration file found here (see Note statement):
<SAM_basedir>/smarts/conf/ics/bootstrap.conf
The automatic repository save interval is controlled by the setting for the checkpointPeriod parameter under ICF_PersistenceManager section. The default value is 3600 (seconds). Whatever new time interval you select must be converted to seconds for this parameter to be applied correctly.
Additional Information
IMPORTANT! Changing the frequency of the repository save is not recommended for Smarts IP, as Smarts IP saves the repository automatically after any changes in the topology.
