Improving synchronisation times between SAMs in a high latency environment.

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Resolution

Set the following parameter in the SAM's dxa file e.g dxa-conn-perf.conf (as specified in the ics.conf) file:

highLatency true

A restart of the domain will be required.

Additional Information

This parameter is avaiable from SAM 6.5.3 RP75 onwards. This parameter will trigger the server to use the optimized code designed for high latency network environments.  SAM Patches are accumulative so download the latest post RP75 SAM patch.
