Does the Smarts DefaultMaximumNetworkSizeForCorrelation parameter ever create a new root cause?

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Resolution

No, the DefaultMaximumNetworkSizeForCorrelation parameter never creates a new Root Cause in Smarts. This is because it is an additional parameter meant to limit the CodeBook size alone for the connected networks.

The MaximumNetworkSizeForCorrelation parameter (whose default value is set to 10) will eventually reduce the CodeBook size to avoid "Out Of Memory" crashes and also to effectively reduce the symptom set for a DOWN computation for a UCS (Unitary Computer System).
