Cause

Interface status NOTPRESENT in Ionix IP/Smarts IP usually indicates an issue with the device SNMP agent.

Resolution

Ionix IP/Smarts IP AM will report a port or interface as NOTPRESENT if it encounters one of the following SNMP errors as a response during IP polling:

NOSUCHOBJECT

NOSUCHNAME

NOSUCHINSTANCE
